Book Blog Hop - March 4th

Blog HopWho’s your all-time favorite book villain?

We here at Two Bibliomaniacs love to hate our book villains – the nastier the better.  We do however, like to see our villains defeated in the end...  It’s impossible for us to sort through the nastiest of the nastiest, so below you fill find our top 5 least desirable people to encounter in a dark alley (in random order).

  1. Dolores Umbridge (Harry Potter series)
  2. Max Devore (Bag of Bones)
  3. William Hamleigh (Pillars of the Earth)
  4. Corrine Dollanganger (Flowers in the Attic)
  5. Heathcliff (Wuthering Heights)

We can’t wait to see the all the other nasties that we forgot, so leave a comment so we can visit your blog!!!  As always, thanks to Crazy-For-Books for hosting this fun event.

  1. Hello, thanks for visiting me and following (bookaholics) am following you back, have a great weekend!

  2. Number 4 is a really good one. I don't think I would have ever thought about her, but she was pretty vicious!

  3. Great answers!! I'm having fun discovering all the villains.... :)

    Happy Hopping!

  4. Thanks for hopping by me....I completely forgot about Corrine Dollanganger --- now as a parent can YOU even believe her??? Wow - you are SO right! Evil evil evil! -
But Heathcliff --- come on -- I think he's right up there with my Rhett Butler --- some good, some bad!

You have a new follower in me!

  5. My favorite book villain is, hands down, is the Napoleon of crime -
    Professor James Moriarty.

It took me less than ten seconds to come up with my answer. But you'll
    never guess why.

Hop on over to my blog and find out --

    Howard Sherman

  6. Great list! Have a great weekend!

  7. Hopping through. I think Dolores Umbridge is just as much a villain as Lord Voldie, perhaps even more so.
    My Hop

  8. Greetings from a new follower! I have to say I love the idea behind what you guys are doing, and the tagline is priceless ;-) I like the fact that you liked so many villains that you had to do a Top 5! :-) And I find it fascinating that you consider Heathcliff a villain -- I mean, sure, he's not the nicest guy, but it's understandable ;-) Come on over to my blog to find out who my favourite villain is if you get the chance :-)

  9. Delores Umbridge, for sure. Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker should count as one, I think. And I'll round out my list with Mr. Victor Hazel (Danny, the Champion of the World), Long John Silver, and that most delicious rogue, Captain Hook.

    Thank you and good day.
